Refugee Compass published in 2008 by support of the Danish Refugee Council has been developed by joint efforts of the CRINGO network of the Yerevan Coordination point consolidating nearly 20 NGOs among them AUNA.
This publication is devoted to the memory of active Human Rights protector Karen Asatryan, AUNA founding president who had just begun the initiative of developing a Refugee Compass.
Refugee Compass includes multilateral information on the issues in which refugees are mostly interested.
The first part of the Compass is legal sphere, which deals with all the legal issues concerning the refugees, among them refugees’ rights and responsibilities. In the second part social issues are wrapped up state benefits, provision of social benefit, employment field, etc. The third and fourth parts of the book are consequently devoted to the issues of health care, and the basic issues of education and culture.
Refuge Compass is aimed at supporting refugees to be aware of own rights and to find the ways of legal and correct solution of many problems.
